Artists Barbara Höller and Stano Masár are both focused on corners. Maybe because these are the beginning / end points, maybe because these are simply on the edge of interest. The corners become the meeting points of artistic program of artists working mainly in different fields of visual art.
The concept of the show is about working with gallery itself, its context of showing the artworks, its architecture specificity, its equipment. Artists will throw the attraction to some points of the gallery. Not only the corners, but to a vacuum cleaner, keys, a wall clock, leaves and dust too. Many items are related to the space and they narrate a story, produce a wonder and help to confirm the space as an art space even using non-art world items.
Barbara Höller draws attention to the space itself and analyses the digital presence of the „kunstraum basement“. The transformance of the virtual appearance into the real space as a re-measurement of the room and it’s history, will be placed in tape lines on the wall. The symbolic weight of the gallery space will be balanced in color and the colors of the corners will form back to a digital form.
Stano Masár is starting the game with a space. He smoothly manipulates the corner to the new position/opposition. Corner in the other side of a show room is left for the performance of the audience. The vacuum cleaner and fan, the gallery equipment, are opening a new level of relationship and the wall clock has found a new role.
